Alfred Rosenberg drew on the heterodox religious traditions of the West in formulating his anti-Jewish version of Christianity. His Myth of the 20th Century became the directing beacon of National Socialism's revision of traditional Christianity. His application of the ancient teaching on cosmic dualism asserted that history was the story of the Aryan race pitted against the Jewish anti-race. To justify his positions Rosenberg cited many heretofore long forgotten religious and philosophical teachers.
